Discover Whistler Creekside Village Contest
Last week we launched an early-summer social media promotional contest for Whistler Creekside Village. Whistler Creekside is the home of a multi-million dollar refurbishment which has revitalized this once original Whistler base into a thriving convenient alternative to Whistler's main Village (at the base of Whistler Mountain, it's also beautiful).
They approached us with the intention of wanting to raise awareness to the merchants in Creekside, as well as increase their Facebook page engagement… and thus a contest was conceived!
We quickly developed a look-and-feel for the contest, followed by a series of landing pages. By using Unbounce, Heyo, and Facebook Developer Apps, we were able to create these pages and embed them into Facebook tabs. However, since Facebook tabs do not work on mobile devices, (and we really did not want to neglect the mobile users!) we set up a redirection to send appropriate devices to appropriate locations. It's process we've gotten quite adept with, and the results are rolling in already.
